Beauty Revisited - Poem I wrote June '08

Driving through every familiar bend,
Is like coming home to an old friend.
The green gently kisses this dry parched earth,
On the hills that surround the place of my birth.
Pichi Richi whistles,
Sun brightens the day.
Welcoming and inviting, my inner child to play.
Space, vastness and freedom,
Beauty, peace and grace.
These are but a few of the wonders of this magical place.

Earth, wind, fire and water,
Eucalypt, cliff face and pine.
Ruggard landscape bathes me,
Campfire, coffee wine.

Childrens voices echo through the crescents of the gorge,
While night time slowly enters,
Bringing quiet mysteries 'til dawn.
Sweet beauty here to caress me,
Let my dreams regain flight.
Open heart to all that surrounds me,
Moon, stars, universe..... wild expansive night.
Friends, guitar, banjo pickin'
Laughter, love a life content.
A heart open, gratitiude,
No pain to voice or vent.

Earth, wind, fire and water,
Eucalypt, cliff face and pine.
Ruggard landscape bathes me,
Campfire, coffee and wine.

Earth Cry... Indigenous Spirit. A poem by Me!

“Indigenous spirit where have you gone,

Touched by white glove, you’ve lost your song.

Cultures in tune with mother earth wisdom,

White cloud rolls in and blankets your freedom.

Whispers hold true in defiant silence,

To one day speak loud of natures science.

To regain the balance and natural rhythm,

One breath one consciousness one connection within.

No longer to cry, to ache from what’s lost,

No longer to suffer from white glove’s high cost.

A New Earth once battered,

Rises up from white glove’s grasp.

Indigenous Spirit’s wisdom come teach us at last.”

*NEW* Product Release

Precious eye emulsion 25g

As the saying goes, ‘the eyes are the windows to the soul’ and to nurture and protect the delicate area around the eyes we have now released our ‘precious eye emulsion’.

Key ingredients such as cypress and fennel can aid fluid retention & puffiness around the eyes, while carrot oil may even reduce wrinkling. Combined with the soothing properties of chamomile and aloe vera in a moisture rich base of hemp oil and shea butter, this light, penetrating emulsion soothes, protects and helps restore tone & elasticity.

Use morning and night after cleansing and removing eye makeup to refresh and revitalise tired eyes.

Hi Teresa, Thank you so much for your precious eye emulsion. What can I say? Except it is , well, precious!!! It is just that. I love it, but then again, all of the products in your range - the ones I have tried - are wonderful. They make my skin so soft and smooth. I love anything natural that has not been tested on animals. I have found the lush lime cleansing cream is the best I have tried. It really does get rid of the last trace of make-up even stubborn mascara! Keep up the good work - you are doing your sisters a tremendous favour.

Best Regards, Tina. Edwardstown, SA.

Spirit of Natural Beauty

What is the 'spirit of natural beauty'?

To me the spirit of natural beauty can be found all around us, however it has also been masked through the relentless obsession with perfection and youth. Natural beauty radiates from within and originates from love while being nourished through health. Healthy skin and a healthy soul radiates beauty.

I have a cause statement that I wrote when launching my business that keeps me focused on the essence and the purpose of hemp hemp hooray!

It reads.....

" To reawaken the spirit of natural beauty within everyone, inspiring love for all humanity. To always value the sacredness of nature. To continue to capture that sacredness in every cream, lotion and salve"

The spirit of natural beauty is also harnessed in each of the products I make for my range. Using pure organic hemp oil alongside other organic and natural ingredients, every cream is food for your skin. The pure essential oils used are food also for the soul with their balancing, soothing and restorative qualities. Let your beauty shine through with radiant, healthy glowing skin.

Nature is filled with this spirit of beauty and can be witnessed all around us - in every flower, in every forest, stream, meadow, ocean or desert landscape. It comes in many forms, and the same is true for all of us. Embrace your uniqueness, embrace the beauty of you and let your spirit shine out to others.
